Hope springs…

Hello Travelers.

I woke up thinking about the quality of hope. Ever read Don Quixote? If so you remember the grey-bearded, gaunt Gentleman Knight of La Mancha, who had a gift of finding hope and possibility in the midst of a grim reality. Was he the Patron Saint of Romantic Idealists? Naïve? Simple minded? Out of touch with the real world? OR–was he someone who had honed his ability to look past external circumstances for the greater good that might be hidden in that life? I got a fortune cookie once that I kept folded in my wallet for several years that spoke to this. It read, “In every disappointment lies hidden something of equal or greater value.”

Sending you my best ‘I’m-not-Irish-but-I-am-for-today’ wave. Happy Monday out there.
